Thermal Stitch: The ultimate ”solid” stitch, ideal for hot pads, pot holders, coasters, and sturdy bags
Basic Workflow:
Row 1: Chain any number, then single crochet (SC) in the second chain from hook and in each chain across.
Row 2: Chain 1, turn. Work 1 SC into the back loop of the first stitch and the unused loop from the row below.
Subsequent Rows: Continue working into the back loop of the current row and the corresponding unused loop from the previous row.
